Who are we?

Rabobank is a cooperative bank with a mission. Together with our stakeholders, we have been dedicated to creating a future-proof society and tackling major societal challenges for 125 years. In the Netherlands, we serve more than 9 million retail and corporate clients. Globally we focus on the food and agriculture sector, 

in 35 countries. Our starting point is: together we can achieve more than we could individually. 

We embrace innovation, growth and sustainability, and invest in joint solutions that benefit everyone: our clients, their neighborhoods and the world. We also invest part of our profits in society – sometimes in your neighborhood, sometimes further afield, for example by helping Brazilian farmers. 

We are involved in what is going on in society and in making the way in which we live and work more sustainable. To do that, we focus on three major global transitions: food, climate and energy and the transition to a more inclusive society.

Rabobank invests a lot of time in developing young talent like you. From the very first meeting, we want to talk about what you know, what you are capable of, and what you want to achieve—and we will keep asking about it. The working week includes time for personal development in addition to professional responsibilities. Besides training sessions to hone your hard and soft skills, you’ll also receive individual guidance. 

What are we going to do at the Business Orientation Days?

During the Business Orientation Days, we’ll be presenting an introduction to Rabobank—highlighting our mission, vision, and the exciting opportunities available for starters. Our recruiters, together with current trainees, will share insights into the various fields where these opportunities exist: Data & Analytics, Risk & Finance, IT & Engineering, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Global. We’ll wrap up the session with a Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and connect directly with our team.
