The Business Orientation Days is an annual event organized jointly by the Financial Study association Amsterdam (FSA) and the Association of Students Actuarial Sciences and Econometrics (VSAE). Here you can read more information about the event itself, the location and the committee that organizes this event.
The Business Orientation Days (BOD) is a two-day career event, organized primarily for students with interests in finance, economics, business administration or a quantitative field of study, such as econometrics. The BOD takes place in Amsterdam and is hosted by two study associations: the Financial Study association Amsterdam (FSA) and the Association of Students Actuarial Sciences and Econometrics (VSAE). More information on the organization can be found here.
The BOD aims to connect students with leading companies, in order to meet their potential future employer and/or to orientate themselves. Yearly, around 40 leading companies are present at the BOD and more than 700 students sign up for the event.
This year, the 23nd edition will take place on Tuesday October 6th and Wednesday October 7th. The event is held in the Royal Tropical Institute (Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen). More information about the location can be found here.
The event offers five different activities:
- Individual Meetings
- Company Lunches
- Company Dinners
All activities are arranged in such a way that you can stay 1.5 metres away from others, so make sure you keep that distance. If you have a fever and/or shortness of breath, stay at home and get tested. Wearing a facemask is obligated during the Business Orientation Days except when you’re sitting in a designated place. Wash your hands often and make sure you follow instructions of the Business Orientation Days committee at all times. Only together we can keep coronavirus under control!
