Who are we?
- Accuracy is een onafhankelijk internationaal adviesbureau gespecialiseerd in financieel-strategische advisering. Met onze diepgaande kennis en expertise ondersteunen wij klanten bij uiteenlopende vraagstukken op het gebied van transacties en investeringen, bedrijfsprestaties, strategie en financiering, evenals geschillen en crisissituaties. Onze klanten bestaan uit (middel)grote ondernemingen, private-equityfondsen en financiële instellingen.
Accuracy is opgericht in 2004 met de ambitie om als een onafhankelijk, innovatief en flexibel adviesbureau te opereren. Sindsdien is het bedrijf uitgegroeid tot een wereldwijde organisatie met meer dan 700 professionals verspreid over Europa, Noord-Amerika, Azië, het Midden-Oosten en Afrika. Sinds 2007 is Accuracy actief in Nederland met een sterke focus op transacties, investeringen en strategie. Ons kantoor op Schiphol, Amsterdam, bestaat uit ongeveer 30 consultants die werken voor zowel Nederlandse als internationale klanten.

Founded in 2004, Accuracy was built on the ambition to create a different type of advisory firm: independent, innovative and flexible. Since then, the firm has grown into a global organization with more than 700 professionals across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middel East and Africa. Accuracy has been active in the Netherlands since 2007, with a strong focus on transactions, investments and strategy. Our Amsterdam office, located at Schiphol, consists of approximately 30 consultants who work for both Dutch and international clients.
Work for us
- Accuracy biedt analisten (en stagiairs) de mogelijkheid om te werken aan een unieke combinatie van financiële en strategische projecten in uiteenlopende sectoren. Opdrachten omvatten onder andere buy-side en sell-side due diligence, waarderingen, herstructureringsprojecten en strategische vraagstukken zoals M&A-strategiebeoordelingen en business case analyses. Projecten hebben doorgaans een doorlooptijd van twee tot zes weken. Gedurende de projecten voeren analisten financiële en strategische analyses uit, doen ze markt- en sectoronderzoek en dragen ze bij aan rapportages en presentaties die klanten ondersteunen bij belangrijke zakelijke beslissingen.
Accuracy biedt een steile leercurve door de combinatie van strategische en financiële werkzaamheden, ondersteund door internationale trainingsprogramma’s (Accuracy School), lokale ontwikkelingsinitiatieven en persoonlijke career plans.
Vanaf de eerste werkdag krijgen analisten veel verantwoordelijkheid en worden zij actief betrokken bij klantopdrachten en deliverables. - Accuracy offers analysts (and interns) the opportunity to work on a unique combination of financial and strategic projects across a broad range of industries. Assignments include buy-side and sell-side due diligence, valuations, restructuring projects, and corporate strategy engagements such as M&A strategy assessments and business case reviews. Projects typically have a lead time of two to six weeks. During the projects, analysts perform financial and strategic analyses, conduct market and industry research, and contribute to reports and presentations that support clients in important business decisions.
Accuracy offers a steep learning curve through exposure to both strategic and financial topics, supported by international training programmes (Accuracy School), local development initiatives, and personalised career plans. What are we going to do at the Business Orientation Days?
- Tijdens de Business Orientation Days organiseert Accuracy een interactieve caseworkshop. We zullen beginnen met een korte introductie van het M&A-proces en lichten de rol van financiële en commerciële due diligence toe.
Vervolgens gaan de studenten aan de slag met een praktijkgerichte case rondom de overname van Dance, een festivalorganisator. In de rol van adviseurs voor het private-equityfonds zullen zij de onderneming vanuit zowel financieel als strategisch perspectief beoordelen. De studenten zullen de belangrijkste bedrijfsrisico’s, financiële prestaties, ontwikkelingen in de brutomarge, het werkkapitaal en de netto-schuldpositie analyseren en de invloed hiervan op de waardering en uiteindelijke aankoopprijs van de target beoordelen. Tot slot zullen zij advies uitbrengen voor manieren waarop de onderneming na de overname extra waarde kan creëren. De workshop biedt daarmee een praktijkgerichte kennismaking met het werk dat Accuracy verricht op het gebied van M&A en due diligence.
During the Business Orientation Days, Accuracy will host an interactive case workshop. We will start with a short introduction to the M&A process and explain the role of financial and commercial due diligence. Students will then work on a real-life inspired case involving the acquisition of Dance, a festival organiser. Acting as advisors to the private equity fund, students will assess the target from both a financial and strategic perspective. They will identify key business risks, analyse financial performance and gross margin trends, evaluate working capital and net debt position, and determine how these factors impact valuation and purchase price. Finally, the students will provide strategic recommendations on how the target can create value after the acquisition. Overall, the workshop provides a hands-on introduction to the work performed by Accuracy in the field of M&A and due diligence.
